1st EPAL Sykeon Erasmus+ Blended Mobility in Türkiye – A Journey of Learning, Culture and Inclusion April 7–11, 2025 | Eskipazar, Türkiye

The first blended mobility activity of our Erasmus+ project, coordinated by Fundacion San Juan y San Pablo (Spain), successfully took place in Eskipazar, Türkiye. Participants included students and teachers from partner institutions in Spain, Italy, Türkiye, Greece, and North Macedonia.

Hosted by Eskipazar Çok Programlı Anadolu Lisesi, the five-day program was designed to support inclusion and diversity, offering meaningful learning opportunities to students facing social, economic, or geographical challenges.

The agenda combined educational and cultural activities such as:

  • Visits to local authorities and historical sites (Hadrianopolis Ancient City, Safranbolu UNESCO World Heritage City)
  • Interactive sessions at youth centers and educational institutions
  • A collaborative Oratorio performance, fostering creativity and expression
  • Environmental education through nature walks and a trek at Horma Canyon

These experiences enhanced students’ social and intercultural skills, self-confidence, and participation in social life. They also strengthened foreign language proficiency and digital competencies through project-based activities utilizing WEB2 tools.

This mobility provided a unique opportunity for personal growth and deepened awareness of European cultural heritage, environmental responsibility, and the values of unity and cooperation across borders.
